“Super fun location! Host was very helpful. The house is very comfortable for large groups ”

“We could not find location in dark and rain. Only given GPS info and no name of hotel or property. Once we arrived guard at guardhouse could not assist as we could not affirm name. When finally able to track down contact info for the vacation property company that listed the rental they had to share hotel front desk info and that’s when we learned name was Windrose On Hudson. Very stressful situation- enjoyed historical location. Great facility, not so great TV/streaming set-up… cable. ”

“This was a perfect location for me while visiting friends and family. The unit was spic and span clean! I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. Matt responded almost immediately to any questions or needs. I would definitely stay here again when back up in Westchester.”

“This is a small cabin located down a slight hill from the owner's house. They did a wonderful job of clearing out trails behind the property throughout the woods, between cabin and the road. The town of Chappaqua is beautiful and located close by, with any amenities you may need. The cabin is modified from an old stone and log structure and had all the basics you will need for a rustic retreat. Joanne was very friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy seeing guests have a pleasant stay.”

“At the entrance to our hotel section “Putnam” the old wooden staircase was rotten! The room was clean …. But very few towels ….. called housekeeping……no response…went to the reception ….told us there was a sign to hang on the door indicating whether you wanted the room cleaned …..was not there …. Ask at the front desk and housekeeping “again” …. Nothing….so disappointing … We love to have a glass of wine in the bar ….unfortunately it’s only open to people dining in the restaurant …… breakfast……

“Overhead lighting in room very poor. Dark/dim even with all the lights on.room facing Highway noisy. Double not queen beds.”
